The Virtual Office & Comms suite turns Agent Lab into a complete client communication cockpit. It bundles three surfaces: a live video war room, a unified client messenger, and an async screen teardown studio. Use it to run discovery calls, keep client threads in one place, and send Loom-style walkthrough videos without paying for external meeting, chat, or recording tools.

Where to find it

All three surfaces appear in the Virtual Office & Comms section of the dashboard sidebar and as cards on the dashboard itself:

Live Video & Screen War Room

The war room at /meeting hosts live video calls with screen sharing through embedded WebRTC video. Clients join from a browser link with no software download and no account. Use it for client strategy sessions, diagnostic walkthroughs, and internal standups.
  • Launch a room. Enter a room name and select Launch War Room, or pick one of the preset rooms for common session types such as founder sprint discovery or agency ops standups. Room names are lowercased and restricted to letters, numbers, and hyphens.
  • Invite a client. Select Copy Client Invite to copy a join link. The link encodes the room name as a query parameter, so anyone opening it lands in the same room:
  • Take notes and summarize. A meeting scratchpad sits beside the video stage. After the call, generate an AI executive summary from your notes that includes key findings and next action items.
  • Track the call. A live timer shows the session duration while you are connected. Select End Session to leave.

Unified Client Messenger

The messenger at /messages combines internal team channels and direct client threads in one inbox. Use it to keep office chatter, sales updates, fulfillment briefs, and client conversations out of scattered email threads.
  • Team channels. Four office channels are set up by default: #general-office, #sales-and-leads, #fulfillment-briefs, and #client-portal.
  • Direct messages. Client and partner threads show each contact’s company, role, and online status.
  • Send a War Room invite. From any thread, dispatch a meeting invite. The messenger drops a /meeting?room=... join link into the chat so the client can jump straight into a live call.
  • AI response assistant. Select the AI draft button to generate a suggested reply based on the active thread. The draft lands in the message box for you to review and edit before sending.
Message history is stored in your browser’s local storage. Clearing site data resets threads to their defaults.

Async Screen & Video Teardown Studio

The teardown studio at /screen-recorder records your screen and microphone directly in the browser using the native MediaRecorder API. No extension or desktop app is required. Use it to send clients async audit walkthroughs, workflow teardowns, and deliverable reviews when a live call is unnecessary.
  1. Select Start Screen Teardown and pick the screen, window, or tab to capture. The studio records your microphone alongside the screen.
  2. Stop the recording to get instant in-page playback.
  3. Give the recording a title, then select Download Video (.webm) to save the file and share it with your client.
  4. Generate an AI Teardown Brief to produce a written summary of the recording’s findings and next steps.
  5. Save the teardown to index it in the Results Vault. The Recent Teardown Library lists your saved recordings.
Recordings are captured as .webm video (VP9 where the browser supports it).

Browser requirements

The war room and teardown studio depend on browser media permissions:
  • Allow camera and microphone access for live meetings.
  • Allow screen capture access for screen sharing and teardown recording.
Use a current version of Chrome, Edge, or Firefox for full MediaRecorder and WebRTC support.
